Abstract Workshop, Wednesday, April 12 (1-4 PM), Saratoga, CA.
Welcome! This class is designed for artists who are new to abstract painting and are looking to explore the world of abstract art.
During this workshop, you will learn about the fundamentals of abstract painting, including the principles of color theory, composition, and texture. You will also be introduced to various techniques and tools used in abstract painting, such as layering, blending, mark-making.
We will start with some basic exercises to help you get comfortable with using different materials and experimenting with abstract compositions. Throughout the class, you will receive individual guidance and feedback to help you develop your own unique style and approach to abstract painting.
We will use the image shown here as inspiration for this session. As we progress through the workshop, you will create your own original and unique art work.
No prior experience is necessary to join this workshop, so whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience in painting, you're welcome to join us and explore the exciting world of abstract art!
Artists will take home the masterpiece they create in the workshop.
Level: Beginners & Intermediate, Adults only (18 and up)
Materials needed: Comfortable clothes, Apron or cover
What is Provided: Painting Materials, acrylic and other mediums, 18x18" canvas,
Location: My Studio In Saratoga, 21334 Toll Gate Rd.
Workshop capacity: In order to provide lots of individual attention, I'm limiting this workshop to 5 students only! This is very much a one-on-one workshop.
Not ADA accessible: There are steps to my studio where this workshop will be held.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: By completing your registration, you are agreeing to accept the following cancellation policy: A $30 cancellation fee applies if you cancel at least 3 weeks in advance. Unfortunately, there is NO refund if canceled less than 3 weeks prior to the start of the online workshop unless another student can be found to take your place.
